The 3rd NORA Conference is going ahead 4th and 5th November 2020 – now online meeting!
NORA 4 Conference foreseen as in-person meeting for spring / early summer 2021 in the Netherlands.
The NORA 3 Organising Committee and NORA Advisory Board have reached the conclusion that it will not be possible for the full, in-person conference in November 2020 to take place due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But NORA 3 will still be going ahead, albeit in a different and online format.
This online meeting NORA 3 will be organised as a webinar / video assembly on two half-day sessions on the 4th and 5th of November.
Since our last conference NORA 2 in Edinburgh, there has been so much progress within a variety of NORA activities and Working Groups. There have been exciting new developments from projects, and guidelines have been developed. Much of this information may benefit those in the NORA network in advance of the next field season and its planning process. Therefore, there will be enough important topics to be presented and discussed at an online meeting. Further information about the programme is coming soon at the website.
Additionally a live NORA 4 conference will be scheduled to take place in the Netherlands in spring / early summer 2021. Submitted abstracts for NORA 3 will be rolled forward to NORA 4 in May 2021.
For all those of you who have already registered for NORA 3 – we will keep your registration for NORA 3 and also for NORA 4. (Please check information via email.) For those who are not yet registered: Registration for the online meeting is possible here.
Thank you to all NORA participants for their support and interest throughout the recent challenging times. We are proud that the NORA community stands together and continues to move forward with oyster restoration efforts.
