NORA Moving Forward:
NORA 3 Conference – November 2020 – in The Netherlands

The Native Oyster Restoration Alliance, the European network for the restoration and protection of the European oyster Ostrea edulis, is preparing its 3rd conference. Following the two successful meetings in Berlin 2017 – with the foundation of NORA – and Edinburgh May 2019, NORA 3 will take place in the Netherlands in November 2020. 

The conference will be mainly structured around plenary sessions. Main topics will be

  • site selection
  • monitoring
  • biosecurity
  • oyster production
  • restoration pilot results
  • restoration management issues.

Further details regarding the date and location will be announced in early 2020, followed by a call for abstracts in spring 2020 to select presentations and posters. So keep in touch us and take a look on the website from time to time – more information is coming soon!
